Meet Our Doctors

		Dr. Sherman Yu performed his surgical training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. It was there that he developed a special interest in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical techniques, especially in the field of obesity surgery. While still a resident physician, he authored many research articles and presented at national conferences.

		Dr. Michael Green developed an interest in surgical treatment for morbid obesity. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Providence Hospital and Howard University. His passion and dedication to the field of bariatric medicine has served him well as he participates in key leadership positions as a member of the board of directors within the Texas Association of Bariatric Surgeons organization and American Physician Insurance Exchange. Through his affiliation with Ethicon Endo-Surgery, he continues to strive for excellence by training other surgeons in the field of bariatric surgery.
